The past due update

I have been slacking on the updates so strap in, this one is going to cover some ground. First up, I received a lot of feed back on the tongue brushing from the last newsletter. Turns out I was late to the party on that one. Hopefully everyone is already in the practice and we can all enjoy additional oral health.
Things we did
Jaime and Katie showcased some of their art at a local Christmas market in Markham.

Jaime featured some Christmas greeting cards.

As well as some of her original art work. Which puffin are you? Post of Facebook and tag your friends.

Prior to the show there was a painting party with the Adamchicks.

I helped out by creating an impromptu artwork on the spot titled Hold on a minute… where I’m holding some pickled jalapeños, holding up the wall, holding down a bag of knitted hats and holding a storage bin as we were blasted with 90 km per hour winds.

I joined forces with a group of crypto weirdos that tried to purchase one of the few publicly owned copies of the US constitution. They raised the equivalent of over $40MM USD in a cryptocurrency called Ethereum. Unfortunately the group was outbid and the constitution sold for $43.2MM, a record price for a document or book sold at auction.
I took a screenshot of the groups website after they had surpassed their original fundraising goal of $20MM.

Thanksgiving doughnuts happened. Pumpkin pie, carrot cake fritter and apple fritter.

We put up the tree and I got a new ornament.

My car’s headlights were looking like this:

So I got a kit and made them look like this:

I got outside and did some fall exploring.

Media
What’s better to do in the winter than contemplate the mysteries of death and the cosmos? I had to listen to this episode twice. If you like having your mind blown I’d recommend checking out this episode of the Making Sense podcast, it’s a quick 18 minutes.
“…the subjective continuity of consciousness, the nature of identity, and the possibility that death isn’t the end of experience.”

On the flip side of all that death I have also been enjoying this other newsletter all about Sweden. In the most recent one I learned about Swedish mulled wine, “Julbord” - their Christmas buffets and some delicious sounding desserts.
Check it out here:
Well that will teach me to leave the updates for too long. I’m sure I will have a great update after the holidays as we are planning to see many friends and family.
